[gestures to the pile of papers on his desk] That should be everything, though I'm now currently investigating this week's curse. It's a strange one, I must admit.

It is, isn't it? Did anyone tell you what 'Halloween' was?

I've had a few interesting stories, but they all agree that it's some sort of holiday involving the dead and costumes.

Apparently, at least in their worlds, in the past the people believed the disguises were to hide them from the spirits. But now children dress up in these costumes and get candy.

[a shrug] A strange holiday if you ask me.
