The weekend just started! :D
Yesterday I went over to angel1770's place for dinner, and...6 EPISODES OF HEROES! Homg, that show is awesome! I've given up on the state of American television since American Idol and The Fabulous Life... (oh god, gratuitous!). But ooooh, this show is good. It's FUN to watch because of the characters' lives weaving in and out of each others. It's. Just. Good!
I have to mention the Japanese guys. Everyone on the Internet has been squeeing about them, and so were me and Angel1770. It's hilarious that I actually understand about 70% of the Japanese without looking at the subtitles. Hiro is the rather classic anime/sci-fi geek...it's funny to me when he yells "YATTA!" in a high-pitched squeal cuz hell, I see it all the time at school. Though thinking about it, it may come off a little stereotypical in the States. :/ His friend Ando, THE ONE WHO SPEAKS ENGLISH AT LEAST, is made of awesome for that very reason. Hiro's just cute.
Other characters: Nathan and Peter Petrelli. I LOL at Peter, just cuz he reminds me of Spiderman. And one brother always feeling he's in the shadow of his older brother? *brain makes clicky noises* NOOO! This is not the time for hunting Nathan/Peter slashfic! XD XD XD
kusoninja, you have it so lucky right now in the States. I'll be downloading, but hey--this time I don't have to wait for translation! YAAAAAAAY. Another fandom to fangirl liek woah. ♥
NaNoWriMo, day 3, and already I suck. Today's word count: 549. And that's from pulling in a week's worth of notes before that. To keep up with my schedule, I'm supposed to write 1,700 words a day...and about 5,100 by the end of TODAY.
