model shoot and cosplay con
the weekend started off with a model shoot organized by fellow HGT member Arthur. other tribemates in attendance were Doc Carlo, Boss Erick and Ryan. our model this time was Playboy Playmate and Survivor Philippines contestant Echo. it was a fun shoot and Echo is without a doubt the most energetic and talkative model I've shot.
lighting for my shots were noticeably different from everyone else since I was hooked up to the beauty dish and it couldn't trigger the softbox. no complaints, though, since I got some dramatic shadows out of it.
Sunday was spent attending Best of Anime at SMX. Pia, Toyang, Nicole, Bessi and Char were there but only Nicole and Bessi were in costume. Bessi was the only one who went around. the rest of us were too lazy and mostly just stuck to the elevator area outside the con proper. if you check my pictures, most of them are just of us.
Nicole wanted to make an animated gif of her doing Sailor Uranus' World Shaking attack so we took advantage of my camera's high shooting speed. Pia then decided to do some other fight scenes so we found a mostly secluded area and just had fun.
it was a pleasant surprise to run into Hrbz and Krisette. I think the last time I saw them was back in 2005 or 2006. Krisette will probably kill me if she finds out I took a pic of her, though. :p
and one last shot because Nicole wanted a full body picture of Sailor Uranus in casual attire. of course, I'm there to indulge.
