This is all over the place.
I started an anatomy class at a local college on Tuesday...and lecture was cancelled today because something came up really suddenly. But it's not really the stuff I'm learning in lecture that I really need to worry about, it's the stuff in the required lab. I mean, Christ, we're doing freaking Chemistry review in lecture now. In lab, we're naming, like, 40+ different bones in the head and spinal cord (and moving onto the limbs tomorrow), as well as the various features of each. It's not too bad so far, but I'm totally not looking forward to the comprehensive lecture final. I'm not sure if the lab final is comprehensive, now that I think about it...
I'm still waiting for Yukiru Mania to be shipped...I think I might have to email the seller to make sure everything's okay.
Out of all the series airing this season, the one I never expected to get attached to turns out to be the one I practically look forward to the most. Tiger & Bunny is 100 kinds of awesome. All the characters are incredibly likeable, the concept is interesting and executed really well, and the titular characters (actual names Kotetsu and Barnaby) are all kinds of HoYay-tastic (or bro-tastic, if you aren't a fujoshi). The character and relationship development for those two is just handled so well. I'm glad it's gonna be about 24-26 episodes.
And, on a final note, am I the only one who has really really strange headcanon? By "really really strange," I mean in the sense that it wouldn't appear in the normal continuity.
By which I mean crossovers. (Possibly strange logic follows)
There's two I can think of at the top of my head, probably because I came up with them when reading fics about these crossovers. Both involve D.N.Angel (hur dur, duh).
The first is Sailor Moon. Rei/Sailor Mars was the most "aware" senshi when she was still a normal civilian, and sealing is a thing she does. So, that warped into "Rei is a distant relative of the Niwa family, when there was a split when the Niwa's had more than one child in a generation." I still haven't decided if the split was before or after Dark...probably before. But I never really thought about this one as much as the other.
The second, and most recent, is Harry Potter. Daisuke's wand would need to be super special to let him use magic without harming himself to much (if you don't write in "oh hey, he totally has wizardry in his blood," which I tend not to do), so it'd probably have Dark's feather inside or something. I almost wonder if the best Daisuke can do with it is maybe just mimic the spells with Dark's magic. Speaking of which, Dark's (and Krad's) magic...is related to the kind of dark magic that various artifacts in HP's world are enchanted with (like that necklace from the...sixth book?). ALSO, if Daisuke's there, then Voldemort obviously got his hands on some of the more malevolent Hikari artworks. But who will teach the students how to defend themselves? Satoshi's too busy investigating or something, so Dark will TOTALLY do it as a special lecturer. And Generic Plot Device Necklace (or the one-with-consequences I thought of) will probably have him and Daisuke split up to make things both less ridiculous and more interesting. AND ALSO, the Niwas totally know the Malfoys. They may have even liked each other at some point. But then the Malfoys did the jackassery they do best and the Niwas found out some questionable things, so they cut ties. Is this getting totally ridiculous yet?
