Continuing the Tradition of Depressing Entries
Well, not horribly depressing. I'm chilling earlier and Vic ims me and tells me of this rumor. Well i do some investigating and find out its true.
Blink 182 is taking an "Indefinate Hiatus" from each other and music or whatever to spend with their families and stuff.
It sucks balls, but hey, they worked hard, got all kinds of money, and now they got kids and stuff and they need to devote time to that. That's awesome - if i had accomplished all of that i would make sure i spent plenty of time enjoying things. At my farm or on my private island in the keys, or house in the mountains, or wherever, surrounded by friends and family. Or maybe as the small town sheriff with a bumbling deputy and getting free pie at the diner from good ole Enus.
So to Mark Hoppus, Tom Delonge, and Travis Barker, I say - Good luck in what you are doing now -- thanks for all the great music and shit over the years -- Don't ever grow up too much -- and have a great family life. Hopefully one day they'll spit out another album - i don't care if they tour or not, but a new cd would be great. Either way - its all good.
So that's all i got. Those guys have been around forever - well since like 95 - and i remember seeing the "Dammit" video in 98 - when i was a Senior in high school - and things were a lot different for me. All of it brings back a lot of memories. Wow, I feel old now. I hope one day i can have that kind of success. Ok, I'm out foo's ----- LATER!!!!
