ah sunday.

i have a ton of things i'd like to get done today, but i suspect i will only get through a third of that last.. especially since one of the high priority items is a nap. :)

so martin is the doctor that i work for, and he and his partner jim just had twins!! via a surrogate & egg donor & stuff... they are each the bio dad for one of the babies. they're early, born at 34 weeks and 2 days, but doing well! both still in nicu but probably be able to come home in ~1 week. they're in colorado so we haven't met the babies yet but i am stoked to see them. they are teeny tiny.... 5 lbs and 5 lbs 6 oz.

we figured out our stupid adaptor drama... went back to the apple store and got the right one. the girl at the first store told us they didn't make a mini dvi to video, but they totally do, and she was just full of crap. so we got the thing we need so now we can watch hulu tv on the real tv. awesomeness.

uhmm..... what else. almost done with my molecular bio class. i have a presentation on wednesday that i'm a little nervous about... i'm presenting on immune mediated hemolytic anemia in dogs, going into some detail about azathioprine. have to nail down the details of that mechanism before wednesday so i can actually take about the pathway as opposed to just gesturing at a graphic of it. :) five more weeks of physics lecture, only one more week of lab- i have my final in there in 6 days. could not care less about it as it's not a prereq and it's only a 1 unit class, but i'm in it anyway so i suppose i'd better study.

i really, really, really want to be done with this semester so i can say "fuck off, school!" for the months of june july and august... it's going to seem like a vacation, just working.... hah. that's pretty sad. meg and i are trying to plan a weekend trip for after my last final so i can decompress a little and get into the swing of summer. trying to do it on a budget too so it might be a close-to-home trip. we'll see...

i think it's time for item #1 on my agenda - nap.
