I'm pretty sure it's fanon since I've heard nothing of Vernon with a shotgun. Dude, Harry'd be dead if he had one. >>;;

I know nothing of the candy but maybe some part of the coca cola company made it since it's cola flavored? Maybe? >_<;;

WAIT! I lied! The first book when Hagrid comes in when the Dursleys ran away! Vernon had a shotgun and Hargid bent it! Whoa, I almost forgot about that... So it's canon and Harry's not dead. (yet, anyway, >>;;)
