Work Funny...
(BTW: I never name coworkers, just their first initial, or nicknames...)
I had to call a patient about her medication, and the 'hold' music was some sort of song by Alvin & the Chimpmunks.
So, I put it on speaker, just so my co-workers can share the joy.
R stated "You should call her back and get the name of the song. After all, aren't you a fan of Chip n Dale?"
My reply: "Chippendales, yes. Chip n Dale, no. They tried to feel me up!"
I wandered away to a silent bunch of shocked coworkers, then came back and explained how trips to Disneyland sometimes included large furries who got almost to frisky. And, how Pluto likes to hug way too much.
Of course, I wanted to add, "And, I'm not into yiffing!" But, since I knew no one would get that, and I didn't want to explain it, I just giggled to myself and continued with my work.
