My newest beading project...
tequilajen adores horses, and, for some reason, she likes my jewelry. :) Three years ago, I found a pewter pendant of a horse head with a very large bail that I knew she'd adore.
It took me three years to figure out what I wanted to do with it. She adores large necklaces, so I knew I'd have the leeway to make something large, which is something I don't usually do.
I finally finished it two days before her birthday this year.
It's lava beads, Swarovski crystal, pewter, onyx, crystal, and garnet.
It's a strand Swarvoski crystal, pewter, and lava beads, braided with a strand of onyx, and a strand of garnet.
BTW: braiding with one string having a large bead? It's a real pain! But, I got it done, finally...
