Finch
I just finished reading Jeff VanderMeer's Finch. Damn, that was a good book. I'm kind of sad I didn't read Shriek: An Afterword first, but that just means sometime I get to re-read City of Saints and Madmen, pick up Shriek, then re-read Finch with all the awesome fresh in my brain.
Also, reading Finch makes me want to do tons of re-writes to Shield & Crocus. Instead, I'll file ideas away for Madness of the Smiling King and the Currently Unnamed Third Book.
Ah, post-finishing-a-good-book reverie. It's one of my favorite feelings.
