I have a FUCKING HOLE IN MY CEILING
Sorry for the expletive in the title, but I'm a little...pissed right now.
Last night, I was in my bathroom and a drop of water landed on my head...much to my dismay the ceiling fan was dripping water, but that wasn't as bad as the freaking BULGE that was forming a foot away from it. I listened carefully and could hear water running from upstairs (I live on the lower floor of a two story complex). I knocked on the door upstairs...no answer. I bang as loud as I could on the door...nothing
At this point I'm panicking, because I fear that the ceiling to my bathroom will cave in and my place will be flooded.

I called the police.
They came really quickly (About five minutes I'd say) and banged on the the door...nada
After talking with some of the neighbors, they find out that whoever lived there moved out over Thanksgiving. Since the running water was obviously causing a hazardous situation, the cops kicked open the door (they actually kicked the damn thing off its hinges). They told me that the the toilet valve was stuck on and it had leaked onto the floor, which in turn leaked into my ceiling.
Ok, now at least there's a finite amount of water that can leak into my place now. Dave (who was around for the entire incident, thank god) called his dad who recommended that we punch a guide hole in the bulge and drain the water into an empty trash can. It seemed to work ok, since there weren't any new bulges forming, but the damage is already done. My bathroom ceiling has many squishy parts now, and I have a three inch hole in it to boot. And OF COURSE the damn property management company's hours are 9-4 (I get off work at 4:30), so I have to call them tomorrow at work to figure out this mess. I know I sure as hell am not liable for any of the damage, but if they sit around and do nothing, I'm worried that the water damage will spread to the rest of my ceiling.
Oh yeah, and to top it all off, my car accident from July STILL isn't resolved. AFAIK, the people I hit are claiming "severe injuries". I call BULL SHIT. If they were severely injured they would not have told to cops that showed up that they were FINE when asked. So far this holiday season is major ass...
