The Higher Road
Forgiving someone you truly love is easy.
Forgiving someone you truly hate is, beyond doubt, damn difficult.
It definitely takes the “higher road” to do the latter.
The usual road of revenge is the "lowest road". One shouldn't sink that low.
It is a struggle to walk through that "higher road". But, if you survive it, you're the better person.
