One World One Dream: Beijing 2008
the eyes of the world fix on china as the XXIX Olympic games take place in Beijing. This city, also my hometown, was bursting to the seams with excitement, while the rest of the world looked on china's rise with understandable ambivalence, china celebrated their coming out party and the international spirit of sportsmanship in style.
the stage is set
there was 1 olympic volunteer for every foriegn visitor at the games, mostly college students on summer vacation
