After hearing of the baking talents of two of my alternates, I decided to try for myself. Apparently, I have some skill in making cookies, though I've only had one opinion so far. I shall have find some others to provide feedback...

"Hello again!" She waves.

"Why, hello Ali!" Kabuto smiled. "Just give me a minute -- I have your batch in a tin. Any requests?"

[vicioussweetie]

"No, which is weird. All my friends must have been busy yesterday. It's very strange. Though I know the Jaegers always like gingerbread. Then again, they eat paste, so..."

"A shame. Well, I can make some gingerbread easily enough." Kabuto walks over and picks up the promised tin. "Here are yours, in any case."

[vicioussweetie]

"Thank you. And I know they'll appreciate it." Is he any faster or more likely to avoid the cheek-kiss this time? Because if he's neither, he's getting one now.

[ninja_doctor]

And Kabuto gets another cheek-kiss, blinking a little.

"You're very welcome! I would offer to deliver directly to them, but I'm afraid I've yet to meet any of them, so..."

"Ah! We'll have to change that. Maxim's easy to spot. He's purple. Dimo's green, but there are other green people around. And Oggie's kinda...peachy. he's got horns. And they all wear hats all the time, and have German-ish accents."

[ninja_doctor]

"Well, I shall have to locate at least one of them to make the delivery. Do you suppose it will be well received, Nexus food being what it is?"

[vicioussweetie]

"I think that it might be a good idea to mention that you're my friend. Just in case."

[ninja_doctor]

"Well, I'm sure everything will work out." He smiled. "Hopefully, including the cookies. It's my first time with the recipe, so you'll have to let me know what you think."

[vicioussweetie]

"I'm sure they're wonderful. Would you mind if I tried one now?"

[ninja_doctor]

"Not at all!"

[vicioussweetie]

"Lucky me." She opens the tin and takes out a cookie, which she proceeds to taste. And no matter how bad it is, she smiles and makes happy sounds.

[ninja_doctor]

It shouldn't be that bad -- he worked hard on these, after all.

"So, you approve?"

[vicioussweetie]

She nods. "Yes, they're very good. Thank you."

[ninja_doctor]

"You're very welcome. I have to say that making them was a pleasure of itself, but the fact that you've enjoyed them is an even greater reward." He beams.
