I've forgotten more than I can remember

Feb 18, 2006 21:24

I wrote some haiku last night at work.

And when I say "write" I don't mean on paper, but I wrote them inside my head. Unfortunately, I forgot most of them.....so I wrote a haiku about that too.

Also, they are my usual funny off-the-wall haiku. I've been feeling lonely lately and it's put me in a strange mindset.

Without further delay, I present my haiku to you.

Love unrequited
It's the story of my life
Help me rewrite it

So much broken glass
Your hopes and dreams lie murdered
This is adulthood

On the map of life
Three small words on blank paper
It says "You are here"

Please flip to side B
You have reached the end of me
Now, lets turn the page

Forgotten haiku
Lost somewhere inside my head
I'll never find you

Now I need to go get ready for work.
It seems that stopping to update might have been a bad idea since I will more than likely be late.

haiku, work
