Well, I had an interesting weekend. Friday night, I finally got to play with a Wii and see what swinging a controller around to play a game actually was like. I had never been able to get my head around exactly what it would be like. It was fun, but I'm also looking forward to playing some more games on it to see how the controller gets used in games other than Wii Sports.
Saturday saw some last minute Christmas shopping and then the big Christmas Dinner Party. It was very weird to be having the big Christmas party so ealry and I felt silly giving people their gifts so early in the month. Still it was a lot of fun and I think everyone liked the presents i got them so I think I can consider it a success. I got a handful of pictures - they're up over on Flickr.
Sunday was a pretty quiet day - not a lot to report about that, so here's some amusing links instead.
The Hogfather is coming! Only a few days left until this airs, and Sky are really hyping it now, with a series of Discworld vidoes leading up to the show itself as well as some clips from the Making Of documentary shown last night.
