Wow. It is really amazing when you go into a situation knowing that you're going to remember it for a long time, if not for the rest of your life. That happened to me last night. Liz had been sending me emails and messages through friends that she wanted to talk to me and needless to say I was a little perplexed. So a couple nights ago I walked with her over to the library coffee shop and she told me that she wanted to get back together with me. If I was perplexed before I was downright stupefied now. But after thinking about it for a couple days, I told her last night that it was actually the sort of thing that I was up for, so as of about 7:15 last night we were dating again. I'm still pretty uneasy about this whole thing and am waiting to see if what she says and does really match up, but I'm determined to go into this thing trusting her (though it doesn't help that I ask a couple people and they did everything but tie me down and cut out my tongue to ensure I not get back with her). We'll see how things go, but I'm pretty hopeful.
I also had the second performance of my play last night, which was...interesting. The play is fine, though I love my character, but the thing that made last night memorable was the fact that I had about a half of metal stabbed into my left hand. I was supposed to be going through a routine where i parry and block this girl's stabs, but on the last one I missed and had to finish out the scene like nothing had gone wrong. It didn't really hurt all that much, just felt like a lot of pressure, but it bled like a sonuvabitch! Now it only sucks because my hand is all stiff and sore from the cut trying to heal. I wasn't pissed at the girl who stabbed me, though she felt terrible, it just sucks that I missed, because I don't normally do that. I guess this just goes to show, knife self defense is a lot harder than people think it is.
I now get to spend the rest of today trying ot type of up an abstract on the problems of warcrimes, but I'm left with only about a hand and a half for typing (if you see a gross amount of typos in this post, that would be why). It has been a crazy few weeks, and from the looks of things, they won't be settling down anytime soon.
