I love democracy so much. how much you ask? Enough to stand in Danville, IL (otherwise known as bumblefuck) for almost 10 hours encouraging people to vote, particularly to vote for doctor gill. Now, it gets better. Not only was I there for 10 hours, I left my apartment at 4 in the goddamn morning to get there. I stood in the cold braving angry cops, angerier voters, and the harsh Illinois wind. Yes Democracy there is a Santa Claus, and his name is Ryan fuckin' Maness.
I am fully behind legislation that says that if you don't vote you don't get to complain about politics, because you haven't truly proven you love democracy until you have suffered mild hypothermia in order to preserve it.
PS: WHY THE FUCK CAN'T I GET DECENT COVERAGE OF THE RETURNS FROM THE EAST COAST????!?!?!?!?! THE POLLS CLOSED ALMOST HALF AN HOUR AGO, WHAT THE FUCK IS TAKING SO LONG!?!?!?!
