Seceral months ago i was talking about the big 'new softare' launch we had here at my company which was a complete unmitigated fucking disaster?
Well it gets better.
On sunday at around 11 am Tennessee time something broke in the server room, flooding it.
Not only is the entire web site & associated portals down, but all of the internal user tools, CRM, Sharepoint, Phone system..... Everything is down. ANd since they decided to move all the services to the US, no-one globally can do any work.
And when asked, 4 months ago, wether therre was any redundancy being built into the system it was decided there's no need......
