(no subject)
So I've had my 3 exams - Bacteriology, Virology & Molecular Biology, in that order. They were all shit. End.
Well, apart from maybe virology, since that was multiple-guess choice.
Exams over. Whee.
I went and bought vol.1 of Area 88 today and watched it on the DVD player in the kitchen. The dramatic fighter-pilot stuff made me load up Ace Combat 5 and play it till I got hungry enough to come off it XD
Today, we went to watch a belated new years/Liverpool's birthday fireworks display that was down at St. George's Hall (actually shooting from the top of the Walker Gallery). It was shiny. I liked the one that was meant to be simulating an air-raid (surpised much?), it had red sparkly explosions and fireworks that looked like anti-aircraft tracer fire shooting into the air XD The one that was done to Bjork's "It's Oh So Quiet" song (I forget the actual name) was also really good.
We (me, Ho-Man, Maz and Fi) met up with Kev, Aron and Wai San while down there and we went off to Kimos to meet Viv and Dan. We ended up sitting there, drinking and chatting till near-closing time.
And, now that I've nothing better to do, I'm gonna go finish watching Black Lagoon.
Did everyone else have a good Xmas/new years (I was meant to ask this a few posts ago XD)?
Edit: Kyoko bought me an issue of Heroine's magazine from Japan XD For those who don't know, it is an anime magazine that talk only about female anime characters. Which is possibly one of the best ideas for a magazine EVAR. I need to find places for all the posters that came with it (or the ones I dare put up at least XD).
