(no subject)
Got an e-mail from archery soc telling me that there's a York-Durham competition on next Saturday. Told Naomi that I'd go. Then, the week after that, is the Novice Championships. I reckon I'll go to that too. Look at me, I'm all competing and shit =P I dunno whether I should, seeing how I'm not entirely sure I can do as well as I did the last time. Plus, I'm told that some clubs just cheat (like, entering experienced archers into the novices category, for example >_>), which is a bit crappy really. Jesse's lent me his bootlace finger-sling to see if I can get rid of the wobble when I release the arrow. I'll have to practice with that so that I get used to it, I reckon.
Finished showing the end of Haruhi at the animesoc on Friday. I am a happy fanboy =D
Last night was Laura's birthday party. T'was a lot of fun. Emma was up for that too! Though I think I've done my leg in a bit from playing Twister (yes, it did degenerate into that at one point) while a little drunk. We had to relocate back to our flat 'cos Laura's flatmate's weren't too happy with there being so many people being there. Some of us went to bed quite early, while a few of us went to bed at around 4am. Even fewer actually stayed up all night till about 9am; when Maz, Ho-Man and Izzy got up to go ice-skating XD
I was actually going to go ice-skating myself, but decided not to as I was up till 4am. So I just decided to use today to chill and catch up on some anime. Speaking of which, is it such a bad thing that I keep finding myself empathising a lot with a lot of the characters in Welcome to the NHK?
Tim popped round and gave me his old PSU to replace mine. The fan on mine has been failing to start by itself more and more lately, so I figure I ought to change it before it burns the flat down one day XD The fans on Tim's seems to work fine, so all seems to be well *pats Evelyn*
The guy above me is making something, or doing some sort of woodwork, I'm sure. For the past 20 minutes or so, I've been hearing noises that sound an awful like someone sawing wood and moving heavy things around. They're either doing some kind of woodwork course, or they're making some alterations to their room. I'm thinking it's the same lot that I hear making noises that I like to think are sounds of them sprinting into walls, and enjoying it muchly XD God knows.
Might go watch some more anime, or I might decide to string up my bow and practice drawing it with the finger-sling. Either that or it's Guitar Hero II XD
