I was playing hide and seek with Emily in our bedroom. She is still trying to figure out how the game is played, so I played the seeker and her, the hider. I told her to hide wherever she wants and mummy will cover her eyes, count up to ten and come to look for her. While I was counting, I could hear her giggling at the corner of our bed. By the time I was done counting, I could see her peeping from the edge of our mattress. I pretended I didn't see at all and started asking, "Where is Emily? Mummy is looking for Emily!" She then jumped out from behind the mattress and declared herself. I still pretended I didn't see her and said, "Geez, I wonder where Emily could be?" By then she ran infront of me, jumping up and down, waving her arms like those signalling SOS, and kept pointing to herself and said excitedly, "Here, here!" I could see the expression on her face, it was too cute. She must have been thinking to herself, "Is mummy blind or what?" "Oh, here you are!" and proceeded to give her a big hug. She hugged me so tight as if I have lost her for a while there. Baby, mummy will ALWAYS find you.
