I can imagine any country is worse than America for women. I am glad I look like a boy, and think i will dress in drag and travel the world. Thailand, Lebenon, all the same for me, American.
April was the worst month ever!
It seems things are a lot better:

Salon des Refuses Exhibition
In Paris 1863 the French Academy rejected 2,800 pieces of artwork submitted for the annual Salon leading to Napoleon's decree that the rejected paintings be displayed in a separate exhibition--the first Salon des Refuses was born.
The Cultural Resources Councils Visual Arts Showcase Committee will launch its own Salon des Refuses. The show is an exhibition of some of the work refused by the Everson Museum of Art's Biennial show. The Salon des Refuses will feature the work of more than 30 visual artists in varied media.

To mark this show, the public is invited to a reception with refreshments on June 9th from 6 - 8 PM. Please join us to chat with the artists and experience this work. Then take a short walk over to the Everson to view the Biennial Show.

The exhibit is on view June 9th through August 3rd at the Syracuse Technology Garden Gallery. Regular gallery hours are MondayFriday, 9 AM - 4 PM, closed weekends.

For more information about the reception or show, contact Mick Mather at 435.2154.
