Since when has the word meme meant weird stick figures, dinosaurs and other things with witty or not-so-witty comments?
I thought it was just another word for those circulating sort of polls asking people stupid questions, but apparently not

I am an old fart. Totally IT and Internet blind. Like my parents. What next? I'll try sticking my memory stick into my mouse (or up my nose)? Use the dvd player as a mug holder? Explain everyone how I really do not understand lolcats (i don't) and that I feel that Cyanide and Happiness is rude and unfunny and lacks artistic value? (I don't.)
I didn't even know what tl;dr meant until a few months back.
I'm a relic. Stuck in the era of DVDs (blueray is just a scheme to get us pay more for shitty extras), hanging on to the days when lj was hip and cool. And who uses the phrase hip and cool anymore? Relics, they do.
Just store me away now and take me down from the museum shelf when the society collapses and you need someone who can fight the zombies. By clubbing them on the head with a smart phone or an Ipad. That's the best I can do with them, anyway.
