"fat, drunk and stupid is no way to go through life"

It's the ONLY way.

What did year 2010 bring to me?

Well, nothing new, really.

I tried to watch 50 movies and read 50 books/comics. I watched 43 movies and read whopping 18 books/other. How sad is that? The movie gems last year were I love you, Phillip Morris, Precious, How to Tame Your Dragon, Desert Flower and, surprisingly, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 1. The movies I regret wasting time on were Queen of the Damned, The Librarian and Epic Movie. Just... don't ask.

The best books I read last year were Tipping the Velvet by Sarah Waters, Nation by Terry Pratchett and Game of Thrones by George R. R Martin. And I never finish the bad books, although The Master and Margarita was rather overrated, or at least I thought so. Maybe I'm just a rubbish reader: the classics never do much for me.

Otherwise, the year was average.Nothing much happened. But I did meet new people and go to new places, and that's something! And I lost 3 kilos. It isn't much, but this is the first time in my adulthood that I have managed to lose weight and keep it off for an year. Go me! It's the right direction. And I have managed to eat a bit more healthily and I've done some sports, yay.

All in all, not a bad year. For this year, I have a massive list of promises to keep, starting from "get more beautiful" to "go on a date".  It's time to end this prolonged, non-voluntary celibacy... maybe.

This is going to be a year of change. I'm so ready for it.

To finish up, have some insults:

Here and here.
