The good news: I've survived modding my first dramione_duet fic exchange, despite losing 6 out of 20 participants (!), and I've already submitted my story for dhr_advent.
The not-so-good news: my television died, so I 'had' to buy a new one on credit, and my recurring stomach ache turns out to be a gallstone... I won't know for a week or so whether they need to do anything or whether, as I suspect, it will be a case of "You'll be perfectly fine if you stop eating anything nice." (But, considering what I thought it might be, a gallstone should probably be in the good news).
Anyway, here are some
ninth_eagle recently held a four-round fanmedia challenge: for each challenge, with picture prompts. I decided to make manips rather than write drabbles and, since I'm not a slash fan, and The Eagle is the slashiest (and most extremely AU) fandom I've ever come across, I decided to go back to the book, The Eagle of the Ninth, and use quotes from the text together with screenshots from The Eagle:
