Hahaha! Everyone is tackling me, eep! XD

Huh, I think I can pass off as an amateur as best. o_O But YAAAAYYYY!!! Holidays!! *happy dance!* (College wasn't meant to be easy, I guess. :P)

Yup! I lasered my cornea off, muahaha! They basically use laser to create a cornea flap, open the flap, then use laser to zap off the unwanted thickness so that the images can now become focused. (You can see a pictorial description from the website of my clinic: http://www.shinagawa.com.sg/lasik-services/the-lasik-process) It's not scary at all, really! The flap was created in maybe 10 seconds and the lasering was done in about another 10 seconds for each eye! ^^ There was a lot of waiting time, though. It was a really popular clinic. :X

I'm sorry to heat that, Jo. Did you live with your MIL or was she close to your family? I hope your family still gets to enjoy and warmth and joy of the Christmas season while the remember her fondly. :')

Occupational therapy? :O Sounds like it's time to change jobs, heh! I don't know, but I would hate if my occupation ends up getting in the way of my life. (Easier said than done, I know. I haven't found a job yet. :P)

Hey, don't underestimate walking! (If it is brisk enough to increase your heartbeat rate, of course ;)) It's awesome that you're already taking the first step--many people simply complain and do nothing. Build your stamina up slowly and increase your pace bit by bit. ;)

Wow, 6th is a job well done for such a huge community! I suck at navigating MTS2 though; any links for me to see your houses? :P

Yay yay yay! :D

Maybe I won't tell you how long that flap will take to heal...

No she lived an hour away, but yes we were close. She was the kind of person who spread love and everybody loved in return. Okay stopping talk on that as I am tearing up. Thank you though.

I think you might be confused on the next part. We got our ds (that means dear son) into see the occupational therapist after waiting about nine months.

Hope I can keep it up in this heat. Not nearly as hot as you are getting I bet. It will be 38C here tomorrow. -_-

Here's the link. ;) The first page has a listing to our makeovers and the scores and judges comments are all there-for anyone to see! haha, that doesn't bother me luckily.

Hope you have a lovely Christmas Ning. :)

Aaaand it might help if I pasted in the link before I hit submit.
http://www.modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=487463&c=1&ht=&page=1&pp=25#startcomments And it was eighth all up, but sixth in the last round. Way to inflate my own ego. *slaps self*

Eh... my doctor said my flap is already healing well after the 7th-day check up. :X I am allowed to do light sports like jogging and wash my face (and get water into my eyes, lol).

Oh, Jo. *hugs*

Okay, I did get that part wrong, whoops! :P I thought when there's the word "occupational", it automatically meant there was something wrong with a job! :P (Is he getting better now? :))

38C?!?! We don't even have it that hot here! O_O (While we complain a lot about the humidity, it gives us a thick cloud cover for protection, heh.)

(Hahaha!! That happens to me all the time: I email people without the attachments!) I like Rose's house best. :D The commentary is hilarious and the decorations just feel so put together and homely! (Psst, I secretly wish I can live self-sufficiently too :X)

Thanks, Jo! Hope you and your family have a fabulous Christmas too! ^^

Thanks Ning *hugs*

My friend went for some kind of check up the other day, two years after she had the laser treatment and she said the guy causally lifted the flap and she was told it will take 5 years to heal! Said it was kind of freaky to think of her eyes being like flaps all this time and she hadn't known. I think I was o_o when she told me that. So either her treatment was more intensive or that wasn’t what your Dr meant by healing.

He went to the first session which was more to test where his strength and weaknesses are. He won't start regular appointments until next year now. She should be able to help him with his fine motor skills.

Really on the less heat? Not fair! Although I don't think I could stand the humidity, being somewhat inland we get a very dry heat.

Thanks. :) I should have done better on the single guy's house but my love of colour got the better of me. Too much red.

*jaw drop* after TWO years?! Omg! I was told I can get back to contact sports after a month! I googled and there were some sites saying it takes 24 months to heal, while other saying they never heal. O_O But I'm thinking since so many people didn't have problems with it, the chance of me dislodging my flap (eew!) should be really low. *crosses fingers*

Hmm... maybe I should have been sent for OT too, since my motor skills are really lacking. XD

Dry heat sounds scorching, actually. Do you guys get sunburn easily? (I tan instead of burn, thankfully.)
