officially starting to freak out.

have two bio exams in a week from now. its going to be hell. not because of the anatomy one, that should be easeaay, but the other one.. shit. advanced cell bio, an absolute everything there is to know about everything, 350 pages from the book plus 28 different techniques to learn.. my methods for now have been very disoriented, flipping thru the ( Read more... )

procrastination! thats my favourite vocab-word of today. in fact, after having studied my ass off last nite (my very own expression personalized very much by moi), today i was glad i did.. very little.. nothing?
well i had bio classes in the afternoon, 2 per Fred 2 per Patricia makes it 4 (what a math geek!), and then i was like.. studying.. anymore?.. naaaah!
so yeah.. we'll see how it goes on Friday. i agree, 132 is quite easy, and at this point i see anatomy much more appealing to me than the scary recombinant sequences that keep on combining in my head every night (yes, i did start having nightmares and wiegant was part of them).
but hey! today we had the practice session, and i was actually amazed by my own grasping of the matter so to say.. you know about listing out the various translation/transcrip proofreads for example.. Wiegant didnt mention half of them. and then he said like that typical of his.. "hmmmm, yes, hmmmm, that is correct.. indeed...hmmm.. must be that i have forgotten them..hmmm". and i was like. huh? duh?

ok, so my problem officially is that its a piece of cake for me to find all those tricky details that no one remembers, but the most obvious ones... are like.. hmmm.. :-S they often seem too easy to be true.

hmm.. im kinda becoming trippy now.. i know :-)

btw- which bio courses are you taking now?
do you still have dear Fred around?

I know, I always fail the obvious questions and remember the tricky details. Very annoying. Oh well, I'm sure your preparation is better than mine, in general, and even I can do it, so again - don't worry!
I'm taking Biochamistry & Advanced Biotechnology this semester. Hate Biochem, but Biotech is okay, I guess. Problem is, I don't want to be a biology-major per se - but I'm not sre what would have been the right choice (science is too science-y, and social sciences are too much bullshit without a doubt). No Fred this semester.. luckily. I was like his favourite student during my first semester, but last semester I wasn't as intimidated anymore... guess I've lost some credit again. ;)
