No time for lies and empty fights
Dear reader,
A little known fact about my blog: if you want to know what I'm really feeling, what my mood is, look at the subject line of each post. I've been doing it this way for the last 3 or 4 years. 90% of the time, the subject is a line from a song. And probably 90% of those song lines are a reflection of what is really going on in my mind. Just look at the subject lines for my last twenty-or-so posts.... Take those into consideration, and my "Fuck it. I'm done." post doesn't seem so abrupt and sudden. There was some build-up to that post, as well as the brief absence that followed.
Of course, now that I am revealing this, I will probably be that much more self-conscious about my blog headings. But really, the music that I listen to at any given point in time usually complements the mood that I'm in. Therefore, the lines that I choose as my subjects reflect those moods. And I've been doing it so long now that I'm sure I will continue it just out of habit.
