Saturday morning...
Morning guys...
I am back from my travels. Two weeks in Turkey. It was mostly relaxing, chilling and more relaxing, but I did manage to do some stuff as well. A boat trip out to some bays where you get to jump off the boat and swim in the beautiful waters of the Agean. A rather exciting off-road jeep ride in the mountains. A turkish bath, which involved a lot of half naked young Turkish men rubbing you all over with lather and oil. :-) And a trip to Ephesus. And a lot of football. Euro 2008 is on, England didn't qualify, but Turkey did so we managed to bask in some shared glory. It was very hot, too hot the second week really, with temperatures in the 40's. All in all a very good holiday.
There is some bad news on my return, which I will post about later, but now it's back to work. :-(
I have a busy weekend this weekend. A friend is moving out to live in Spain next week and she's having a leaving party tonight. Then tomorrow me and some guys are going out to look at... well, gardens I think. One of my friends is a professional horticulturalist and wants to go see this big famous rose place, so we are going along for a day out.
It's also the first of the two-part finale for Doctor Who tonight, and EVERYONE is back for it. Rose, Sarah-Jane, the Torchwood guys. Of course my sister, the Who fanatic is having kittens.
Speaking of my sister, she's living with me now, and she has said that she is going to buy a wi-fi thingy with her next pay, so that means I should be able to get more internet time soon. Cool.
