Oh my soul, ppl! Joey preached at deluge on wednesday! He is sooooo awesome. He's my new favorite preacher. He's a born speaker, really. I always knew he was, but i never thought I'd see the day. He preached on Myspace's. It was so awesome and awkward and intense and i loved it. He's perty much a pastor now. We have to call him Sir, or Mr. Phillips ( Read more... )

yeah, I'm not as totally against myspace as I make it out to be... i had one for a few weeks a while back... but the time thing totally is true, maybe an understatement.

That is so incredibly awesome!!!!! I wish I could have heard what he said because I've been preaching against the dangers of myspace for forever and I think it's so rad that ya'll actually had a meeting devoted to discussing the realities of the WWW. Ah! Now I'm all excited because now I know I'm not just crazy, paranoid, legalistic and spastic!! Woohoo. (don't get me wrong, I have a myspace but I'm completely against using it as a hook-up connection for 12 yr. olds...etc. etc.)

Oh man..I would have loved to see the faces of some of those people listening. Ouch.

haha. ppls faces were quite priceless. especially daniel morgan's when his mom announced that she checked his myspace and he said he drinks.
