So yeah.
So I haven't had to much to do on my own up here in Portland, so during my free time at home I tend to watch movies. Recently Ive been running out of movies to watch so I switched to TV shows. I finished Season 2 of Dead Like Me. It was amazing by the way. Then I watched Myth Busters, and then decide to go to Target to maybe purchase some new TV shows.
Right away I saw How I Met Your Mother for $20. I felt like they were giving it away. I had to buy it. I also picked up season 5 of Seinfeld because it was also $20. Then I saw this show that I hear Phaedra and Gabe talk about. Veronica Mars. I picked it up. It looked interesting, but would I like it. It wasn't a bad price. Only $23. Hmm. I do need a new show, so I called up Gabe to ask him if I would indeed like it. After several minutes of talking and kind of describing what the show was I decided to buy the first season. But I didn't get to watch it right away. You see this was while I was still watching Dead Like Me.
But on Friday I did get a chance to start watching it. I got though 3 disks between Friday night and Saturday morning. It was very good. I like these detective stories. Like Psych. Oh I love Psych. But Veronica Mars was good for another reason. Why?! Because she is so very sarcastic. Love it. Gabe was right. So I had to buy the second season because it also was only $23. Its a steal I tell you. So yeah.
I also got paid on Friday. My very first paycheck here at Nike. Oh I was excited. Not to excited about the fact of having to track down the paycheck because it was in a different building, but it was worth it.
So yeah Nike is going well. Kind of sucks living alone in a house. And I miss my friends back home. Bummer. I am getting paid though, that has to be my bright side for awhile.
