I really, really want to see live music when I'm home, but so far Portland is screwing me royally. Yo La Tengo, Built to Spill, Minus the Bear, Iron and Wine, Digitalism, The Decemberists (a fucking 3 night set!!)... these are all band that are playing with a day to a month of our window of time. And what do I get? Motherfuckin' Blues Traveller. Come on, they're still a band? Please tell me, how is that possible? I just say a little prayer every night to Jesus, Santa Claus and whoever else is listening to convince The Dandy Warhols that what they really need to do is come back home to Portland and play THE GREATEST SET OF THEIR LIVES. Then I might be happy. Ish.
