The Dominican Republic and Belize are our two best fits, program-wise (as in, what jobs we do). Actually, the DR is the best fit of all, because beside matching exactly, they also don't speak any useless indigenous languages there, just Spanish, so we won't have to spend two years learning a language only 25,000 people in the world speak, or something. Plus they eat lots of rice and beans and I loves me some fucking rice and beans.
Went to Puerto Galera for my birthday. I got really sunburned because I am a retard. It's so nice to spend two days laying on a beach though, and it was perfect camping weather. Plus we ran into some ate-up old guy who was in the Peace Corps in 1968, so he treated us to a whole bunch of weird stories and the first pot I've had since December! I'm sure I could get some if I tried, but that requires effort, and I don't really miss it. But fuck, laying on the beach at night with a band playing in the background and some gin and pineapple juice is pretty sweet when you got a couple joints as well.
