But I do have to agree that more tails are not necessarily better - there probably isn't a substantial benefit in balance from having more than one. Law of diminishing returns, you kn-- or you don't care about the law of diminishing returns, also possible.

Allow me to facilitate a cultural exchange, in the interests of clarity and as few lynch mobs as possible. In Japan, what are called demons can be both malevolent and benevolent, depending on the context; they are much more human-like compared to their closest western equivalent. As far as I'm aware, Shiro isn't a particular danger to anyone unless they give him cause to be.

Um, thanks. Where I live, all the demons go sorta nutso. There's one or two that are okay and won't kill you just to see what it looks like, but it's not a great idea to test that the one you just met is one of them.
