Oh wait. I think 'giving up when something is lost instead of fighting to the bitter end' might be a good one. Hmm. I'll think that over. Could be better for the nerves.
One to serve clichés - my favourite dress fits after... uhm.. a long, long time (actually the only one I ever cared wearing *g*).
