My friends, this is certainly long due --and I must apologize for the wait-- but here it finally is, the long-awaited mushroom stew.

The only excuse I can give for the delay is that many things had come to mind recently, and I had to write them down before they escape me forever. My memory is not something I am proud of, I'm afraid though perhaps

Ah, wonderful! Really it's a shame, given the circumstances here, that we don't have more. Er. Culinary experimentation; I'm sure one could gather all manner of curious recipes from other realities.

Hobbits are not known for their usefulness, but we are certainly skilled with pots and pans. We have to cook to satisfy our own stomachs, you see.
