Pulsating

It's Sunday night, (Or rather, Monday morning) and I first went to bed at about 10:45. Obviously, I couldn't sleep.

First, my annoying brain was going all over the place with unproductive thoughts that I wasn't expecting to be thinking. Pretty soon I was writing in my mind. And I couldn't help it. After a very long while, I realized that it was very late and I was still conscious of my waking life. I also quite suddenly realized that I was very tired. Like I'd just done a lot of hard work. Even though, as I said before, all this thinking wasn't useful for anything. I simply wasn't thinking of important or relevant things. So, I told my brain to shut up, and I pretty much thought I was going to go right to sleep. But then.. I heard these sounds. It was like a song, but there were only three notes that kept repeating over and over, but in a different order, and kind of fast. And there was also like this low-frequency noise that went with it, sort of dusty sounding. It was so faint, that I couldn't tell if I was just imagining the sounds, or if they were really coming from somewhere. I still don't know, and so it's really kind of eerie. I tried to see if I was just imagining it by controlling the sound. I tried to make it so that the background noise was constant instead of intermittent. It was like I would hear it differently for just a few seconds, and then it would go back. And that doesn't mean much, because I know you can do that for sounds that really are there, if they're quiet enough, you can control how you interpret them to a point. So, I just don't know. But it's weird. Then, I rolled onto my side and my hands were throbbing really bad for some reason, and they felt hot. And so that combination of weird noise and my hands feeling weird was really distracting. My pulse was pretty fast too, because I was starting to kind of freak out. Then, I started to worry about having a seizure sort of episode like I used to when I was really young. I just decided I needed human contact in some way, so I get up and logged onto AIM. No insomniacs to talk to though, so I just resorted to this.
When I first got on here my vision was doing the same thing. It was like a really faint strobe light was flashing everywhere outside the glowing white square og my monitor. But anyway, it seems normal now, and I have to get up early, so I guess I'll just get a glass of water and go back to bed.
