Clark and Kara's characterization is just right and I could clearly see them having this conversation on the farm. I love how you've given their dialogue weight without making it heavy. The humor is organic, playful and genuinely funny.
Yet, you've balanced it with the deep pain of their losses. I like how their renewal is reciprocal in that they have each taught the other something. I also liked how they're clearly still getting to know each other, yet their family bond is strong.
What I think I like best about this story is the over-arching tone of hope which is the essence of the Superman mythos for me. You capture that perfectly.

You had a great list of prompts and, honestly?, there were two that immediately grabbed me and all but one were eminently possible for me to have written. I wish I'd the time to have written both of the ones I was taken with but could only justify one in the short time frame.
Still, maybe there'll be some more BSG fic in the future. . . .
