In his unending quest to become the world's biggest retard
David Truesdale strikes again. This time it's in response to 'Bedfellows' by Harry Turtledove, a story that has generated a fair amount of
debate elswehere. In his response to Truesdale Gordon van Gelder, who bought it,
says in passing:If I can turn the discussion to something else for a second, I've been wondering why this story has drawn such vehement reactions while Terry Bisson's "macs" (Oct/Nov 1999) didn't get one angry response. "macs" is a deeper story, a more serious consideration and not a once-over-lightly joke story, but isn't it dealing with equally explosive issues?
I seem to remember a certain
nhw having a
fairly strong reaction.
