#55 World Hotel by Ali Smith
Structually a cross between The Accidental and The Whole Story And Other Stories but not as good as either, which is not to say it doesn't contain some very fine writing.
#56 Vanish by Tess Gerritsen
Absolutely dreadful. This is a classic case of someone getting published because of a perceived sense of authenticity rather than any ability to write.
#57 The Naming Of The Dead by Ian Rankin
Finally finished after the third attempt due to only reading it whilst visiting my parents. My first Rebus novel and it was much as I expected: no more and no less than a competent thriller.
