The Fourth Plinth
Marc Quinn's statue of Alison Lapper is up on the fourth plinth of Trafalgar Square now:
It is a welcome antidote to the obscure generals who sit on the other three plinths but I find it hard to be engaged by a piece of art that's only interesting feature is its subject, rather than its execution. Somewhat proving this point there is a good interview with Lapper here.
