The Doctor's Classroom, Morning and Afternoon

The Doctor was programming the holo-projector for next week.

The classroom door was open for any parents, students, friends, dinosaurs, or what-have-you that wanted to visit.

"Hello, Doctor? I'd like you to meet my Grandfather."

[nine_and_ears]

The Doctor smiled. "I'd like to meet your grandfather," he said. "Show him in, show him in."

[for_two_cents]

Captain Bernadette is a smidge preoccupied with the projector.

He probably thinks it's a weapon.

[nine_and_ears]

"You'll be glad to know your grandson is a very attentive student," the Doctor said.

[for_two_cents]

Granpere looks up from the futuristic looking object on the desk.

"I am glad to know it. He says you teach some very valuable skills in your class... Doctor is it?"

[nine_and_ears]

"Just the Doctor, yes," he said. "I try to make sure my students have the neccessary knowledge to survive in the cold harsh world."

[for_two_cents]

"That is certainly an education I can approve of." Granpere said taking out a packet of cigarettes. "Though it is generally not taught in the classroom."

[nine_and_ears]

"Perhaps it is not, usually," the Doctor said. "But I do what I can within my means."

[for_two_cents]

"You seem to do alright forself." Granpere nods at the projector.

"This thing couldn't have come cheap... What is it?"

[nine_and_ears]

"Holoprojector," the Doctor said. "A bit of a personal tinkering job, actually. Didn't cost me a penny. Just good old fashioned elbow grease."

[for_two_cents]

Granpere looked suitably impressed.

"Self-sufficency being an important part of vigilance and all?" He said taking out a cigarette and holding out the pack out to the Doctor. "What do you project with it?"

[nine_and_ears]

"Holograms. Images of various creatures and people, to give a three-dimensional visual aid to my lectures," the Doctor said.

[for_two_cents]

"Of the alians and such I suspect." he said pocketing the pack and taking out a lighter.

"I believe it's customary in America to ask before lighting up... Though neither of us are Amarican. I assume you're not anyway."

[nine_and_ears]

"Indeed I am not," the Doctor said. "Feel free."

[for_two_cents]

Granpere lit up, taking a long drag and exhaling the smoke through his nose.

"Thanks. So, tell me more about my //grandson// and your class."

[nine_and_ears]

"Well, I've only had the fortune to have Pip since the beginning of the semester," the Doctor started. "While perhaps diplomatic means are not his forte, he certainly seems to always make an effort."
