holy wow! high speed!
albuquerque is absolutely rad this time around. i'm getting to hang out with all my old gang here, and i'm volunteering to help with renovations at the tricklock theater space. i'm totally psyched about road tripping up to olympia. jeremy's girl actually has an SUV for us to drive, so i can cancel the rental car and save us all an assload of money. woo hoo.
i'm building a wall here at the theater. we tore down one from the front of the box office, moved the back wall forward and cut windows into it for the new front wall of the box office which is now much much bigger. i feel all manly when i leave the theater with plaster on my hands and sawdust in my hair. so far i've learned much about demolition and hanging drywall, and hopefully by tomorrow we'll be able to start painting. that is, if the tricklockians actually buy paint for me. i'll try to post pictures when i'm done. not that any of you care, but i'm proud of my work.
