(no subject)
today was like the day from hell at work. i went in at noon, and to my surprise our whole computer system was down. the screens in the back that show what orders have been put in, what's ready, what's not ready, and what has been started were all not working. and every couple of minutes the computers in the front (where we put our orders in) would randomly shut down.
at one point, i had tables that wanted their checks, tables that wanted to order, and tables that wanted to pay with a credit card, and i could not do anything. it was ridiculous. and to top it all off, we actually had a semi busy lunch (which neverrr seems to happen on saturdays anymore). it was very chaotic.
they called some fix-it guys to come in and work on it, but apparently the parts for the computers were in buffalo, so they had to drive alllllll the way there to get them. why would they only be in buffalo? stupid.
ugh. just a long long long day.
