you've got me laughing while i sing
It's hard to believe September is almost over. I have to say, this has been the craziest month thus far. It started off terribly and I've been on quite the ride ever since. Still, when it comes down to it, I am definitely in the best place I've been in years. And I feel alive and I am having fun so I really can't complain. Life's good. Life's really fucking good.
I've been playing catch up with old friends & spending ample time with my nugget loves. This past weekend was Vixs' graduation. The ceremony itself was a lot of fun. Highlights include: "winning!" and the douchebag with the iPad (think Coachella: guy holding iPad during the Kanye's performance). Honorary mention: the cute mother yelling, "THAT'S MY SON!" as he sashayed across the stage and the Spring 2011 Valedictorian dedicating his speech to his wife & child. So much love.
And although I had no intention of A) drinking or B) going out after, it all inevitably happened. Still, I always have fun with my nuggets. :) Hukilau punch, hot dogs, Keak da Sneak in Krystle's car, Vixs' infamous line.. "BUT IT'S MY GRADUATION," the cab ride downtown, asking Vixs' friend if she was the chick who used to drive an RSX (lol, who the hell am I!), the cab ride home, Krystle accidentally receiving a text message meant for me and her accidentally texting back, "I'll make sure Ricky gets this!", getting lost on 101S because no Hostetter exit existed (!!!), getting lost in a neighborhood, getting lost in general, and "..that's definitely not doing it." Embracing the randomness. Oh, and tell me why I drove home the next morning with my shirt inside-out the entire time? I can't even.
I have decided on my Halloween costumes this year. For work, I am going to be Minnie Mouse. For the weekend, I am going to be a Girl Scout. I really need to find some girl scout cookies though. Cookie season doesn't start for another 140-something odd days 'round these parts. Out of state friends: are you guys in girl scout cookie season? If so, can you buy me a box and I will pay you back?? I mean, I'm going to commit to this costume for sure.
