I know I keep saying it, but I seriously mean it.

You say that like it doesn't make me very, very happy when you do! I have to tell you, I was petrified when I got your name in the ficathon, and I am so sorry you got stuck with someone who was about to hit the wall in terms of writer's block, but things are coming much more easily now (although I'm not as prolific as you, Wendy, or amberfocus, who is just a tap, apparently!).

I absolutely love every nuance of this fic.

Oh, good...because I'm pretty lousy at running-jumping-adventure action, so I'm taking the Shakespearean route here.

The sexual tension in this chapter was ratcheted up to an almost obscene level (I want RST soon, yes? ;))

It will happen soon(ish) - a couple of chapters. But it might not be in the way you expect! ::is mysterious and spoilery::

I just want to hug the Doctor.

I know. So did I. I kind of hated to do it to him...except that Christopher Eccleston is so very good at that kind of "I'm okay, really - though you can see in my eyes that I'm a big gaping wound", it made it easy to visualize.

Everything in this was just so palpable, so detailed, that I could practically see this playing out before my eyes.

I was definitely wearing my cinematographer's shoes in that last scene, I put my hands up to that one. It wasn't a conscious choice, it was just very, very strong in my head how that would look, particularly the lighting. Very Citizen Kane (never let it be said that I'm not a pretentious filmie). Be grateful I didn't make storyboards, because I did actually have them in mind!
