I started packing today to go back to the burgh for the summer and I really have some mixed feelings. I know that I've loved the last year at school, freedom is amazing but its so easy to take the freedom from parental power to a freedom from God's power. I've learned so much about myself the past year and am so fortunate that everything I've learned has led me back to realize how important family is. Family like your parents and siblings, God's family, the family of friends you have around you, the family of your hometown, your college family...all the families that make you who you are. Its amazing to know that every person I have ever come into contact with has helped bring me to the point I am at today. I think this year has been the most trying year of my life so far but has made me grow more than I ever thought possible. I dunno i'm just in a thoughtful deep mood now that my dorm room is bare.
