peace, love, power to the people brother
I'm a very happy girl today. Not only because Mitch comes home from Florida but because I realized my life rocks. I mean honestly. How lucky are we to be where we are? I thought about a comment a friend of mine made about how everyone in her family had gotten an IPOD for christmas but her and how that made her sad...and i realized that if the thing that makes us sad is the fact we didnt receive a 300 dollar gift for christmas, that we are all beyond well off. I mean, darn we didnt get that one gift or darn my parents wouldnt let me stay out late or darn this or darn that but how amazing is it that we have so much that not getting luxuries are the things that we lack. God has blessed each of us so incredibly much that it doesnt make a difference to us about the little things. I realized that the moments I get frustrated with my parents I need to just calm down and just thank God for giving them to me to begin with - I mean lets face it, without the parents we have none of us would know each other or even be on this Earth living the lives we live...
I could go on forever about this but I'm just grateful and thankful to know you. You have made an impact on my life and I thank you for making me grow and learn.
