*april 20- late night bbq @ the bff's... just like old times
*april 23- my first hiphop congress (sac chapter) meeting.. time to see what these cats are all about.
*may 1st- wale show @ empire w/ neighborhood watch opening the night.. super juiced for this!
*may 2nd- cuddy lerma's 23rd bday & pacquiao fight @ her casa
*may 17- last day working at ikea... i'ma miss these guys!
*may 20- i graduate! haha... not the big one yet, but it still means a lot to me.
*may 23- memorial day weekend... possible trip to LA.
*june 20- miami bitch! this is gonna be some organized chaos.
i have a lot to keep my mind and body busy for the following weeks to come. obviously i haven't been in super great spirits but last night helped forget about things that have been buggin me lately. my ass(pledge) sister from my sorority came to sacramento with her cheer squad (she cheerleads for a women's football team called the california quakes). i called the homegirl to put us all on the list for Image, a VIP lounge in downtown sac. plans changed since the girls were ballin on a budget... so i decided to check out aura bar and lounge right by harlow's. my sister and her bf raved about this place when they went so i definitely had to check it out. i trusted their opinion and hope it was a place that my girl mabel and her friends would enjoy. aside from my confusion of where the place was (i accidently went to the bougie place next door first), i had a great night! it was honestly the most fun i've had in a while considering recent events and my super busy hectic schedule. mabel is just as i remembered her.. such positive energy, funny, crazy, same beautiful girl whom i claim "corrupted" me haha. we've had some great times in our sorority days and all these years later we're able to party it up like old times (minus some drinks lol). her girls were chill too, typical LA steeze. aura is a pretty dope spot.. free 99, ok music, cheap drinks, chill vibe. we reminisced on some great memories that night. needless to say, i had a great night and i could tell they did too. i need to treat myself to having that kind of fun every once in a while..
